The man was ahead of his time in the 50s, 60s, and 70s. Huge automotive innovator.

Do you or did you ever own a Shelby?

The Shelby Daytona has always been on my list of top 10 favorite dream cars to own. I do mean the Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe.

But I did own a 90 Dodge Daytona Shelby LOL.

I liked it so much, that I sold it, and bought a 93 Daytona Iroc RT. (used to restore salvaged cars and flip them).

And since then, I have told people that I have owned a Shelby and an Iroc. All I need is a chevette, then I can tell people that I owned a Shelby, Iroc, and a Vette.
The Shelby model was mainly just the bodykit and a different, lower spool, turbo bearing.
