Any of you drive these compact SUV crossovers? I am in all probability going to be forced into purchasing a new car, and I was thinking about going up in size from the sedan that I've been driving. I don't need anything big, nothing special, just the basics. If you drive one, and can provide a recommendation, I appreciate it.

I loved my Honda CR-V. Got 180K miles before we traded it in.

If you want to go real small Kia Soul ain't bad. It's pretty roomy on the inside. Very good gas mileage, and the car is really cheap.

Say goodbye to trunk storage. Most of the compact SUVs we looked at might as well have none.

A friend has a Hyundai Santa fe... does everything she needs in winter and sits high enough to have good vision in traffic.

Not my speed, but for someone who doesn't need towing ability it seems like a really good vehicle.

Personally, if I were in the city with no need for anything other than here to there, height (vision) and AWD would be the 2 must haves.

what do you need a car for? just work? do u need that extra room? do want want resale value?... wranglers/miatas... much mer smaller than an upsize but just speking on 10-20 yr old models dat still keeping sum value cause of duh fanbois....

get ya a used/new kia sportage between 2012-2018... cheaper than other brands, quality has gone up... some used will still carry dat warranty of course.. available in AWD if ya need dat.. i dont care fer the look... but meh..its a tool to do the job... kia sorento looks a lil better and is a lil bigger....so thats another option

I have a 2012 Kia Sorento I bought in early 2014. I have the V6 4WD.... I like it. A few things I have had to do is replace the evaporator fan motor(I did the work $60.00 for part) and a wheel bearing other than normal wear items. Other than that its been reliable. I bought with 20k and have 95k on it now.... From research I recommend the v6 over the 4 cylinder, some people have had issues with the 4...

I live in WI and does great in the snow and has plenty of oomph when passing in the summer with the AC on.....

Probably will be trading in in a yr or so for another one...

Friends drive a Jeep Patriot and my ex boss has some type of Subaru. Both are great as far as interior and features, can't really attest to the drive though.

So you can think about all the people who died when Japan invaded Pearl Harbor?

I recommend everyone buy an Audi A6 at the very least. Preferably an A8 or R8. That's my final word on the matter
