which sucks because we are in chicago, not fucking kansas city. cubs and sox should combine to 1 team and they would be ok.

I think throwing more money at the problem isn't going to solve it, but if you fix the problem first, then you have a solid foundation and then you can throw more money at it to improve an already-good situation rather than to just tread water. Such a plan would benefit both Chicago teams.
