Obviously, I don't watch a lot of college football. But this looks like the defender went shoulder to shoulder. Wicked hit, but is he supposed to allow a TD in the semi-finals?

It’s not just about helmet to helmet contact but about hitting a defenseless player too

Looks good to me, DB has to be able to challenge the catch, he did everything reasonable to avoid head to head contact. Because of how WR catches it the DB actually goes through the ball before hitting the WR in the shoulder - DB is entitled to make a play for the ball just as much as the WR is.
