They cut plenty of 7th round picks the year they were drafted before. As well as 6th round picks they moved to the practice Squad. Tyler Reed was a 6th rounder who was cut that year.

Yup! He showed up.....some good things indeed. McCoy did not show enough....as his ST skill set is redundant with Weems and Booker and he is not at all a polished CB........the new guy the brought in with the Clutts trade is now ahead of Frey......

They like Frey and he's on the PS, and it is supposed to be hard for 6th and 7th round picks to make the roster. That means we have a deep, talented team.

Frey was already on the outs in the 53, the traded CB allowed the Bears to cut Wilhite.
