I thought it was a joke, but the two dates in Chicago and Detroit sold out faster than the NCAA tournament. This guy is fucking off his rocker and I am thoroughly enjoying almost anything he's said in the last 2 weeks. The show has absolutely no description but I plan on going, I have some awesome ticket stubs, Winter Classic, Bulls finals, Cup Finals (THANK you Tommy O) this ticket stub will be right there with them, obviously in a different perspective, but still an epic ticket.

Should be interesting, I'd go if I had tickets. I don't understand what the show is supposed to be though? It's not like he's a standup, is he going to do scenes from his movies without the other characters....

Have a feeling that he will be unable to do shows by the first week of April.

Just sayin'

I'm really not sure what there is to be gained by seeing (paying to see) Charlie Sheen.

Has he done spoken word on stage? Will it be like a Kevin Smith tour where there's Q and A?

What's the going price on tickets?

Edit: So around 80 per.

If it's half as entertaining as his interviews then I'd go, pay 80.. .no way, but I'd go.

This totally seems like a "strike while the iron is hot" kinda thing and worry about content/stage show later.

I mean, the Kevin Smith things work because the man can tell a story (or many stories within one story), but I don't get the feeling Sheen can. But then, I'm not totally sure that this isn't some brilliant way to out do Joaquim Phoenix.

I mean if I have 70 or 80 dollars to go see him when he's here I would like to go. I don't think there is anything to gain from seeing him on stage. What I imagine is a giant party with everyone on a rocketship to the moon in the Chicago Theatre, probably Bree Olsen naked, who knows. To me there has to be something outrageous going on to even spur the thought of a Charlie Sheen show selling tickets. I mean people pay a bunch of money to see Tony Robbins, but I imagine this will be much more entertaining.

And I would be worried about what would go on such as does he have any experience or a Q and A, if Sheen was sane. But this man is lives with 2 porn stars, thinks he has tiger blood, and is more than likely having crazy withdrawals right now, it has to be entertaining.

You hit the nail on the head, people have paid a whole lot more to see a whole lot less. So why not, especially as mentioned above, strike while the iron is hot.

Bri I think you have come up with the perfect tag line for the show. You could work for Sterling/Cooper, but you would be Joan not Peggy.

too fat for 40 was funny. I like how the question "what was it like to direct Bruce Willis?" turned into a 2 hour response that started out being nothing about Bruce Willis. Now the kicker of it all was, is it did relate and ultimately it did lead to the answer to the asked question.

Depends if you spit, swallow, or get it shot all over a desired body part or parts.

Sheen is pretty funny with what he has been saying lately but I wouldn't give a penny to help his cause.

Yes, he's coming off as crazy, and he's old, and partying, but he passed the drug test, and nothing he has said has been anything short of the truth or hilarious. I think people are being led by the media to believe that he is more out of control and crazy than what he is. He sat down and had some frank conversations with some reporters that turned out golden soundbites is all really. Mix that with some opportunistic appearances and a spat with a network CEO who ended up looking dumb, and viola. The Sheen Phenomenon.

Yea this whole situation of the shit he's saying, way he's living is right up my alley when it comes to comedy. I was crying when the interviews first came out and I still get a hearty laugh when I see them. I know my dad and most older people who hear the name mentioned don't think twice and just see a psychopath, but all I see is epic comedy.

Almost every question in this interview is close to my top quotes list. Up there with Tyson's eat their children/stomp on their testicles,

I don't think he needs much more dough, I'm just gonna read the directions and go to the party.

I'm not trying to be moral or whatever and the media isn't leading me to believe anything about him. Just saying I can be just as entertained by reading his quotes online and loling. For free

And he presumably leads an expensive lifestyle, of which I have no intention of contributing to. I don't really know that much about this situation other than his quotes are hilarious so
