Chicago Blackhawks Raise Banner Tonight Against Detroit Red Wings

After an opening night loss in Denver, CO, the Blackhawks look to rebound against their long-time rival, Detroit Red Wings, as they raise their 2009-10 NHL Championship banner to the rafters.

After being out-shot against the Avalanche, key pieces to the Blackhawks success will look to keep the continued pressure on the Red Wings defenseman.

As for Detroit, they conquered Anaheim last night in almost every aspect of the game. The biggest challenge for the Blackhawks will be the maturity and being a fundamentally sound team.
