LOL at Neil Funk trying to bring down what Gordon did with his phrasings.

In that game Kirk Hinrich had 17 points and Ben Gordon had 15 points...(LONG PAUSE) of his 33 points in the fourth quarter.

I think Bulls are going to get blown out tonight. Blazers just are a bad matchup for us.

Bulls got KILLED at the Garden of Roses last year, but we are alot better down low now. Still think were gonna get spanked.

I went to the Bulls vs. Blazers game at the UC last season, and I remember that one not being too pretty for the Bulls too.

I think that Salmons got ridiculously lucky drawing that foul on Rudy Fernandez.

Well this is bad.

At least Deng hit two threes, and Noah baptized Greg Oden!

Deng is now 5-9 from 3 for the year. Would it kill him to try to shoot the two or so a game he was shooting in his rookie year and perhaps find out he's at least passable as a threat out there?

I think Derrick Rose confuses his lack of aggression with unselfishness.

If Rose is going to be all star caliber, he must figure out a better, and more aggressive offensive game plan. This turn it up in the second half bs ain't working.

He needs to watch some tape of Brandon Jennings, and watch how Jennings is on the attack all game long.

I wonder if Rose is purposefully resting on offense, so he can save energy for defense, and play big minutes.

This is a game you have to worry about for the Bulls. The Blazers rubbed it in a little bit with all those highlight plays at the end. Hopefully the Bulls can hold up mentally.

He's not saving energy or purposefully resting anything. Ugh, I don't how many times I have to point this out but the kid is still affected by his injury. He seems to be coming out of it & getting some confidence back atleast in spurts anyway. His jumper is not falling but it wont fall when its flat because he's getting no lift on his shot. I'd rather him shoot that 10ft push shot right now. The troubling thing for me is the lack of trips to the foul line. When he's driving he's not getting calls. I can take the missed layups just give him a damn call once and awhile.

I do agree he needs to be more aggressive out there for the offense to improve & just aggressive in general. I was yellin at the TV tonight because he was giving up the ball when he had Steve Blake on him. IT'S STEVE FRIGGIN BLAKE YOU CAN DRIVE TO THE HOOP!!!

Insert Houffina arguement about not trying to change deng. But yes, I agree, he should shoot a couple per game. That and throwing up an occasional pump fake after a offensive rebound before going up would help.

I didnt get to see the game (had a job interview this afternoon....btw im in australia thus the time difference). The box score looks like we didnt shoot to bad, but portland just shot better and had a massive difference on the rebounds

Did the Bulls just not put in the defensive effort or were the Blazers just on fire?

I think Vinny gotta go, these plays he's been running rarely have D-Rose involved. Or is it that D-rose does not want the ball?????? He's been disappointing me again and again. Every time he brings the ball up court, he gives the ball to Deng and gets as far away from him as possible, or he gives it to Salmons and gets as far away from him as possible. Even NOAH, Noah comes to the perimeter, Rose gives him the ball, jets, and Noah puts the ball on the floor and tries to cross over his man and misses the layup. Rose has not been asking for the ball at all. Is he still injured? Is he scared? Is it Vinny? IDk but it's ridiculous, Hinrich is playing the point better than Rose right now. Yeah I said it. Wait no- I take that back, kirk hasn't been playing that well either.

I'm concerned that Rose is a player that will be great only if he is positively influenced by somebody with a great game or somebody that has had coaching success. For instance, put Rose next to Dwayne Wade. Obviously they will compete for plays but I think Rose would experience a career changing influence if that happened as opposed to developing as "the" leader. I think it's fair to say that Rose isn't like LeBron or Durant. Guys that naturally develop on their own. As far as VDN, I agree with an earlier post that the offensive sets suck. I've also said before that Rose will not benefit from being coached by VDN. The Bulls will stagnate like this until we get a real coach. Another way to look at this is, would Wade or LeBron want to be coached by VDN? My guess is no.
Hopefully the Bulls won't renew his contract at the end of the year (I believe it's up?) but I'm sure Reinsdorf will say VDN has proved himself...

Also I look at this game and realize, VDN still hasn't learned anything, the pick-n-roll was not getting done, some times try something else besides the pick-n-roll w/ Noah or Gibson and Deng & Salmons curling off screens, yesterday was a perfect opportunity to use Rose as a post player against Blake, thats another way to create offense, get shots for Brad, get Rose to the free throw line, VDN dosen't know how to use his players or take advantage of match-ups

I think Vinny is doing the best he can...anybody think they would be 6-7 right now? He has gotten a good chunk of his difficult games out of the way...I think the Bulls are doing well and Vinny has done well also. You guys should not panic when this team has clearly overachieved. They are losing to far superior teams...

I disliked VDN from day one. Hopefully he proves me wrong. My main thing is I don't think he's the guy that can help Rose be the best he can. Also, do you think a top 2010 FA wants to be coached by VDN?
