Avery Johnson whiffed on his Head Coaching chances when he wanted to be VP of basketball operations. I want him, Mike Woodson,or Dwane Casey to be the Bulls coach. They're not interested in Scott and Johnson unfortunately.

ill pass on mike woodson, his x's and o's are high school at best.

i liked Avery Johnson but he seems to have a hatred to the bulls for not giving him the job couple years ago.

The Bulls don't seem interested in Scott. Well the Bears weren't interested in Martz but when push comes to shove...

Has Scott shown interest in us? It takes 2 to tango.

Yes he has. I wouldnt want Avery Johnson. This is the same guy who said Rose and Lebron wouldnt work. Im sure you guys wouldnt want him to coach the Bulls now after that little detail. Plus does anyone know Thibodeaus offensive philosophy??

Unfortunately neither of them will be coaching the Bulls. But I hate Jeff Van Gundy so I'm not shedding any tears that he's won't be coaching this year

I'm guessing it would stem from Doc Rivers' offense

Seriously, IMO Scott is the most qualified candidate. They wanted someone with playoff experience. He's worked with great PGs like Kidd and Paul. No, he doesnt have the most proven track record but hes a good coach. Lets not forget that a couple of his worst seasons in NO were during the whole rebuilding because of Katrina era.

yep i would much rather have him than all the candidates that have been mentioned.

Also, scott got to play with magic, i bet he can teach a little something to rose about playing with him and all the great pg's hes coached. paul and kidd.

I also read somewhere they he's a pretty good 3pt shooting coach. I believe it because Paul did really improve his shot his first few years in the league.

Didnt the Bulls front office have complaints about VDN not focusing on defense enough?

Can you imagine how displeased they would be if they hired Scott and he wasnt dedicated enough again? We have a young team that needs coaching. Im kind of glad Scotts not in the running.

The city of Chicago is so focused on defense. This team was good defensively at times but usually struggled to score. Noah knows how to defend, as does Deng. Bring in James, we already know what he can do. Scotts defensive philosophy has been questioned at times but i question the players as well.
