Just for a review, Doug ranked some of the top prospects on a 1 - 10 scale. 1 is a Darko-ish bust, 10 is a Hall of Famer, 5 is an average NBA Player. Here were his rankings:
Blake Griffin - PF - Oklahoma 8
Stephen Curry - PG/SG - Davidson 4.5
Tyreke Evans - PG/SG - Memphis 7
James Harden - SG - Arizona State 7
Jordan Hill - PF - Arizona 6
Ricky Rubio - PG - DKV Joventut 7
Brandon Jennings - PG - 4
Hasheem Thabeet - C - UCONN 5
G. Henderson - Duke 5
DeRozan - USC 6
Earl Clark - Louisville - 4
T. Hansbrough - NC 4
DeJuan Blair - Pitt 4.5
We both love Jonny Flynn from Syracuse. I thought the kid was fantastic in college basketball's toughest conference. I disagree with Doug on 2 guys: Curry and Henderson. I think both will be 7s, with Henderson potentially reaching greater heights. He would really ease the imminent pain of Gordon's departure. We'll see.
