were sitting in 4th. thats were the bulls should stay i dont think the Hawks can stay on 3rd place that long. bulls have to win many games as possible to stay in the top 5 in the east i dont want them below any 6 seed its not gonna be easy since were gonna be faceing good teams this month its not gonna be easy but we should beat the teams we can beat.

wish the bulls luck.

Are you guys serious? The team doesn't miss Tyrus? He was doing one hell of job of rebounding in 7 a game in 25 minutes. While Taj continues to not box people out, miss the same rotations as Tyrus yet noone points that out. Tyrus bring draws fouls at very good rate and we could use some free throws.

I agree with them.

Your argument would totally be relevant, if Vinny elected to play tyrus. Sadly, he doesnt. I think tyrus should see 20-25 minutes on the floor. Gibson should see 5. JJ should be getting the minutes tyrus gets at Sf. Noah and deng should get all remaining minutes at pf.

Do I agree that Tyrus is better than Taj? Yes! However, Taj is willing to play within the confines of our system and Tyrus takes our offense completely out of sync. I do not think our team flows as well when Tyrus is on the floor, though he is obviously the better player.

You guys said Tyrus was playing like crap we in reality if played 30 minutes a game he could be getting 14 and 7. Taj often takes out of offense by deciding to post up then realizing he sucks at that and is too weak so we lose 7 seconds on shot clock when he has to pass it back. I seriously had to turn this off after these comments

Dude, stats arent everything. Am I confident Tyrus could get 14 and 7? Sure. Howver he would have 15 turnovers, because he gets the ball stripped whenever he is within 20 feet of the hoop and would be shooting 38%. I agree with you that Tyrus is talented, however, he is a moron. Thats my issue. I dont feel our team is better when he is on the floor and I feel Taj plays a smarter game. If you feel differently I would be happy to have you on the next cast to discuss w/ Fred and I. What are everyone elses thoughts?

I know your not serious, but 15 turnovers, but thats your point. Go look at the numbers Tyrus only has 3 turnovers the same as your man crush Taj. Tyrus also has a way better succesfully rebounding chance rate and when on the court the team is more product offensively. I know numbers isn't everything, but they do tell alot.

tyrus is a better athlete. i think if given significant minutes, taj will have a better game than tyrus by the end of the year. The biggest knock on taj is that he fouls too much and is inexperienced. he makes a lot of mistakes because he's a rookie. tyrus is jsut a goof. I'm not sure if tyrus will ever get "it". Noah made a significant leap this season. Part of that is cause he was ajusting to a new coach and a new position last season. either way, he made a jump. tyrus is still attempting to do that. he makes the leap, it might be a couple of years.

he doesnt have the potential that tyrus has, but he does the little things that do matter. plus his jumper isn't that bad. if he improves, he could provide the significant minutes we need at 4(given that we have deng, and noah both capable 4's. granted hinrich picks up his game/miller continues to produce, it might be better to play small ball/big ) on our team

I agree with Pinkizdead 100%. Look, Tyrus has more athletic ability and "potential" than Taj. Taj also makes mistakes, but Tyrus is in his 4th yr as a pro and Taj is in his 6th game. Whatever Tyrus doesnt "get" yet, is a much larger knock on him.

Look, Tyrus is a great athletic speciman, but that is all that he is. Take away half his athleticism and put it towards his brain and maybe then he will get it! Until than, i'm more comfortable w/ Taj.

Look im here to argue that Tyrus has finally got it and is going to turn out into this great player. What I am here to argue is your comments that he's playing crappy and Bulls are better off without him. Taj does not better than Tyrus, but hustle

We all agree Tyrus has a truck load of more talent than Taj. I didn't say the Bulls are better off without him, but I don't think him being gone is really a big loss for us. He wasn't a big part of our scoring before, so that doesn't bother me. I'd love having Tyrus back & contributing, but the way we have been playing on defense has alot to do with what we are doing on the low block. It's Taj's defense & hustle that are keeping him out on the floor, & defense is why we are winning. He's not a scorer, probably never will be, & doesn't need to be. We have scorers. Taj plays within the system. He knows his role & he is playing it well.

When Tyrus gets back, he's going to have to work for his minutes. And hopefully he works hard because this team is better off with an active, hustling Thomas out there than a rookie even if that rookie is playing well.

Both of them clearly are not starting caliber players, so I could really care less. It was a shame we wasted that pick on TT when we could have had Aldridge or Roy. TT is 99% gone at the end of the year and Taj will never be more than a 2nd string pf. We need to concern ourselves how to get an upgrade instead of trying to pick between a rock and a hard place.
