Not a soul knows. So much turnover after last year.

Historically though, four open cup championships (98,00,03,06) and an MLS cup (1998). Last year was only the 2nd year in history not making the playoffs.

"Experts" are predicting the Fire to be in the basement of the league this year, but with half the team being new, predictions like that are to be expected, but you never really know how its going to end up.

That 1998 championship was also their first season of existence, and they were the second different champion, third championship, in league history.

Former Fire player Carlos Bocanegra played in the All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game... and they pitched him a soccer ball... which he used to reach on an error.

Anyone else notice that the Fire's website is in a different format than most other MLS ones... and that RSL's site's favicon shows the Drupal logo, now we know what CMS the MLS site runs on... and probably MLB's too, since MLB Advanced Media created the MLS website...
