If Gar and Pax wanted Howard, I KNOW they can put together a VERY nice package if they really wanted too! What is yet to be seen is if Howard would stay on past this season! Toss up!

And people in Hell want ice water, that doesn't mean they are going to get it.

That's my point! I'm sick of the Trib writers always bringing up Howard. Its obvious he would improve the Bulls if we could manage to land him. I just don't see Gar or Paxon doing much before the trade deadline. !

The Tribune is holding the Bulls accountable each time a star player become available. They did it with Kobe. They did it with Pau Gasol. They did it with Wade and LeBron. They did it with Carmelo. And now they are doing it with Dwight Howard. It's nothing you wouldn't want from them. Not saying they are right about all of those cases, but the team needs somebody to hold their feet to the fire.

THE REALITY IS THAT WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET.
PAXGAR ARE NOT TRADING FOR HOWARD AND AS SOON AS EVERYONE REALIZES THAT, THE BETTER WE WILL ALL BE.
WE HAVE A VERY DECENT CORE AND WE HAVE MAINTAINED A RECORD ON TOP OF THE LEAGUE WITHOUT RIP HAMILTON ANYWAY.
WE WILL JUST HAVE TO CONTINUE TOUGHING IT OUT AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.
PURHAPS THE BULLS WILL START USING JIMMY BUTLER NOW WHO POTENTIALLY COULD BE A GREAT ASSET IN THE PLAYOFFS. WE SHOULD PLAY HIMM MORE TO PREPARE HIM FOR THE PLAYOFFS.

MAYBE THIS SUMMER PAXGAR WILL TWEEK THE ROSTER A LITTLE BIT.

I'M NOT CONCERNED ABOUT HAMILTON ANYMORE.
I AM HOWEVER CONCERNED ABOUT WHAT THE BULLS WILL DO ABOUT TAJ GIBSON THIS SUMMER AND IF WE WILL BE ABLE TO AFFORD TO RESIGN HIM. Purhaps amnostying Rip will at least give us a little more cap money to help us do that. :dunno:
JUST A REALITY CHECK GUYS.

As far as Howard goes, it is more likely the Bulls would sign Smith in the offseason than Px trading off key core players for 1 man.....plus Smith doesn't fit into the New York lineup very well. He did look decent on there squad his first few games until Melo the cancer was put back in the lineup. This was proven last season as well. I now you guys arnt high on him, but he's more of a realistic possibility for PaxGar to reinvestigate into especially with the fall of Rip.
I'm just relaying more realistic possibilities and thinking ahead. It is what it is.

We arnt getting Howard and its not the end of the world.

P.s, its kind of funny how everyone is back to the "trade off our team for howard" crap, especially right after we just blew out the Pacers last night.
I'm sorry, but I think we are a contender right now and I appreciate the team we have.

All you have to do is look back to 2 to 7 years ago when we were all celebrating just to make the last seed in the playoffs.
We have come a long way since then, and that's all you need to look at to appreciate our currant team.
If we waited 14 years for a championship, we can wait one more year and we are almost there as is.
Just one more piece will put our currant roster over the top.

RELAX PEOPLE, WE ARE ALMOST THERE.
Winning championships is a process and not somthing you can trade for or buy overnight.

We are almost there, just enjoy our winning team right now, because just like Charlie Sheen, WE ARE WINNING!!!!!!

Dwight Howard does not seem to have any interest in coming to Chicago. I can understand if there were rumors that he was interested in playing in Chicago, but there are rumors saying he doesn't want to play in Chicago. I really feel its not going to happen and I hope people don't get angry if there is little attempt by the front office in aquiring him.
