personally I believe this series could go either way. Both pitching staffs have been working wonders, but both offenses haven't been there and neither have the bullpens. I can assume this will be a deadlock

Do or Die series vs the Halos

Sox have to play at LAA while the Tigers have the Twins at home. We need to be up at least 1 game after this weekend, which will most likely require the Sox to go 2-1. This race is gonna give me a heart attack.

Well, the Angels aren't Detroit or KC, so we actually might win some games here! The first two are critical, as Floyd vs. Weaver in the last game certainly doesn't favor us at all!

Both Haren and Santana have been pitching well lately for the Angels, so it'll be interesting to see how the offense responds. We ain't getting anything off Weaver, even if Floyd pitches well, so do not be surprised to see all 3 games go into pitcher duels and won late in the game. Both bullpens are gonna strike nerves for both ends, seeing as they have blown a few critical games lately

Yep.

I feel a lot better than I did yesterday. The Sox are 25-17 against non Tigers/Royals teams in the second half.
We haven't lost a series to the Angels yet this year.
Sox own the Indains
Last time we played Tampa Bay we swept them.

No guaranteeing of a repeat of all that, but odds are in our favor.

13 games left. Sox go 7-6, Detroit has to go 10-3 to overtake us or 9-4 to tie.

Two nights in a row of poor starting pitching. Not a good time of the season to see this. Damn.

4 runs in the first and i thought it was going to be a 12 run game for the angels. those 4 runs were the only ones scored for them and we still cant hit. awesome time for the bats to go to sleep.

they did so good all season. They better not let this season just slip away from them.
