I know it would never happen (or at least not until 2022 lol) but this would be a great move by MLS if they want to become a more serious league and an eve better move for the Fire to sell more tickets. One can dream, right?

League needs to find a way to lure a player in his prime, so Chicha in 2022 wouldn't be the answer. However, a big time designated player is what the league needs to bring to Chicago in order for the team to get back to economic stability and good attendance.

You do realize that was sarcasm, right? I (admittedly) know next to nothing about MLS salary rules, but Chicharito wants out of Manchester and would be a perfect fit for MLS in Chicago right now (and we need to score goals). Like I said, one can dream.

Well it is true that it would have to be then for him to actually consider coming here, so I took it as serious.
