Awesome. Works best with real honey of course and specifically breasts. Yeah, that's right, I'm a breast man.
Love a good chicken w/ honey dish.
Warm the skillet with lard. Also seasons the pan nicely.
Here's my goto:
Caramelize a full honeycomb, add crumbled chicken sausage(casing removed) then thinly sliced chicken tenders. Once one side of the sausage is browned, I add chopped spinach and onion. Once the juices are boiling nicely, I'll drain it over just one side of a chicken breasts, two or three. And set that on the side. Then I add some real pork fat, and add 3 chicken nuggets. Start mixing everything in. When one side is solid enough, I flip the whole dish over and add extra sharp cheddar to melt. Fold the ingredients, making room on the pan, add the chicken breasts onto the pan to toast a bit. Roll the ingredients onto the breasts, making room for another breast and then fold them into each other when one side is finished toasting. Basically making a chicken sandwich in the pan. But then I lay it out on a plate so the breasts are fanned on the side and drizzle fresh honey all over it.
