Hey, hey -- This is Chris Harris' (Chicago Bears safety) Virtual Biographer. I help him manage his virtual life.
Today, Chris is launching a contest for Chicago-area musicians to create their own modern rendition of the Chicago Bears' fight song, "Bear Down." The winner(s) will receive tickets to the Bears vs. Jets game AND 6 hours of recording time at Rax Trax Recording Studio to produce a top-quality cut of their song.
Once the winner has been chosen, Chris is going to promote the song to Chicago Bears fans and the Chicago music community. And once the fans get ahold of it, there's no telling how it will be received -- It could flop OR it could embraced as Chicago's new favorite version. However, at the end of the day, SOME talented musician(s) will surely be receiving a lot of recognition for their work, benefiting them in many ways.
