Considering his home/road splits, especially early in the season, one might think Milwaukee was stealing signs too. And while Yelich had great numbers versus Darvish in 2019, his team in 2 games scored exactly 1 run against him.

Stats what not. Makes the rivalry better.
Know that there isn't going to be splashy moves this offseason but
hope the Cubbies can turn it around and bash these guys to the ground next year.

Christian Yelich's splits, like the Astros mysteriously good home record, is a topic begging for an investigation. Neither pass the smell test, and now we know why when it came to the Astros.

Well...

until they played the Nationals they tend to have a huge baseball advantage in their own stadium. They built their staff and their batters for that stadium, and it has some unique features. Sure they are cheating too but its deeper than that.

They have power 1-8, and then a combination of power pitchers and guys who typically yield soft contact (Grienke/Miley).

Its hard to hit their staff out even in a little park. But then the Nationals were able to show with power pitchers they could flip that advantage. Grienke actually wasn't that great in Houston but they preferred to use him on the road until they had to at the end. Power pitchers with high K rates do well there...they are the only pitchers with a fair chance. But Scherzer/Strousbourg is the only duo that could trump their own, and they were able to steal all 4 games in Houston.
