My stomach hurts watching this. That is bigger then the Sears Tower with no safety lines or anything.

Are you fucking kidding me? That guy was 1700 feet up, and he wasn't even roped onto that thing. I've climbed a few 14ers in my day, but there is no way in hell you could get me to do anything remotely resembling that.

That is awesome. When I got out of HS, I was a cable guy and we used to climb some tall towers. After you got used to doing it, you didn't want to strap in because even if you fell, you can still get tangled up in your tools. At least if you fall from a high distance on any form of ladder, you can slip and catch the next bar or crossmember. I never climbed anything close to 1768', but damn, those guys must make bank for having such a hazardous job.

I don't think the lower paying jobs are for those who climb the big boys. This is a 80k+ a year job.
