Ive been bringing this up for months now but evidently 2.5 years of having top tier talent at detroit is enough to let him hire his own boss for bears fans.

The only team that may be stupid enough to do that besides the bears are the jags, and they have been pretty much a shitshow for years now.

I don’t think it’s Johnson who would demand it. I’m not sure anyone would. My point is why not keep the option open just in case it makes sense? Nothing to lose by doing that. No reason to extend Poles now.

But tbh Baalke is bad. HCs should have issues with him. Baalke got rid of Harbaugh for Jim Tomsula. That is enough reason.
Baalke is awful. I still don’t think they should hire him if his demand is Poles getting fired and control over who the next GM will be. He’s been an OC for a bit over 2 years. Again-that’s a big red flag to me if he demands that.

This guy used to be the Bears rb coach and has OC experience. I would hope Flores could aim higher.

I think Flores would want to bring McCown that’s my best guess. I don’t like it for the Bears because we don’t want a first time play caller in this situation for this offense.

I don't know much about this guy, but ironically he has ties to both Glenn(both were on Browns staff in 2015) and Flores(currently on Vikings)

I would love to understand how you have zero interest in speaking with Belichek but you want to talk to Carroll, especially after having Waldron here? Nothing makes sense.

Pete Carroll is interviewing with the Bears on Thursday. Would love him to be hired as a consultant for Ben Johnson if he doesn’t get a job.
I read somewhere that rumor has it he wants Bevell as OC and Saleh as DC. I could live with that.

Didn’t he fire Bevell?

Carroll isn't a schlub.
