Marcus Freeman is a candidate because in 2022. He was also drafted by the Bears so the McCaskey family knows him.

That's just like... an opinion man.

He's good. Read up on him.
I have. A whole hell of alot of 2 year stops on the ol' resume. That doesn't instill too much confidence in me that he's going to turn an entire organization around.

I've been a Todd Monken defender, but there's no way George signs off on a guy who calls everyone "motherfucker" and says he doesn't care about locker room culture. Dude legit just treats players like tools to do a job, which I'm not saying is right or wrong, but it's hard to believe a guy like that gets handed the keys to his own program.

The players would shape up, for sure, but I just don't see it happening.

Sure sounds like Baltimore absolutely does not want him to go, though, so that's something.
I’m in UGA country and from what I’ve heard is he was well-respected by damn near everyone in that program.

Everyone was bummed when he left for BAL, but understood.

Look at the night and day difference in the offense since he left.

Maybe not. But he’s never gotten a shot as a HC in the NFL before.

Maybe he turns out to be Lombardi, but what about the 2 years of play calling experience makes you believe Johnson can turn an entire organization around?

It's funny that Jerry didn't grant CHI permission to interview him and they just parted ways with Moobs. Jerry sticking it to him lol

Everyone sticks it to the Bears cause they know the simpy organization won't do anything about it

McCarthy was pretty flashy with Rodgers bro.

The only Superbowl they won relied on their defense.

Plus remember Getsy and Hackett came from the McCarthy tree - all 3 tell their QBs to not throw over the middle. Not a big fan.

why do the Raiders even want Johnson this bad? They have no talent right now, he isn’t what they need. They need to build from scratch and need a guy to hold the team together while they do it. They aren’t at the maximizing Xs and Os stage yet.
Because teams that are run by people with functional brains can turn a team around in a season or two, unlike the Bears which are on their 30 year rebuild program….

15 million to coach in the NFL to a guy who has proven absolute zero in terms of coaching.

He brought two top players and tons of others to Colorado and can’t beat a Top 25 team.

Yeah college football doesnt work like that. He made a 1 win joke program mildly relevant.
