Breaking news: The Chicago Bears have reached out to me to schedule an interview for the head coach position. After years of leading teams to Super Bowl glory in Madden, I feel uniquely qualified for this role. My game plan includes audibling every play, never punting, and running the same four plays that somehow always work against the AI. Also, I promise to actually use timeouts correctly. Your move, McCaskey!

The Packers guy is nothing but gathering intel. I like how the football morons come piling in at once thinking the guy is a real candidate and shaking their fist at the clouds.

I do not understand how people are determining where coaches will end up, except Vrabel which was common sense.

I don’t think McCarthy lasts the week. If they want him they gotta offer him the job Wednesday. Saints will offer him the job if he goes there.

Johnson gotta commit or they might just move on. Should be interesting.

It's funny that Jerry didn't grant CHI permission to interview him and they just parted ways with Moobs. Jerry sticking it to him lol
If it was anyone other than Jerry, I would assume they wanted more time to come to a deal, but just couldn't.

But Jerry? Who knows?

Nobody thinks he is a serious candidate but maybe Linda the HR lady who unearthed him for the process.

So far Mike Vrabel, which means he decided it was best to put his career on the line with Drake Maye instead of Caleb Williams.

That’s not a ringing endorsement for the generational quarterback.
Yes, he clearly only factored in Drake Maye vs Caleb Williams. What other reason could he possibly have for wanting to go to New England?

Plz go back and read this thread to figure it out. Everything about Vrabel screams
Boston/New England.

They'll need to wittle that list for in person interviews down to like 4 or 5 by the time this week is over to have time to get these 2nd round guys into the building and finished with their interviews. I'm not sure i can see that happening soon enough because i'm sure the Saints will have MM in and out very quickly and be totally done with their interview process by the time next weekend is over. We will for sure be the last team to hire our HC.

LOL. The rage over interviewing people is hilarious.

I feel the same way.

Originally I felt like it was too unfocused.

But since these are all zoom meetings, this is more like an initial screening than anything.

It's pretty standard for a first round of interviews for any job nowadays.
