My favorite teams
Follow up regarding Ben Johnson -
Seems to contradict himself.
GoshI feel the same way.
Originally I felt like it was too unfocused.
But since these are all zoom meetings, this is more like an initial screening than anything.
It's pretty standard for a first round of interviews for any job nowadays.
My guess is McCarthy wants at least a four year deal but Jerry won't agree to a coaches tenure that exceeds his life expectancy. If it was anyone other than Jerry, I would assume they wanted more time to come to a deal, but just couldn't.
But Jerry? Who knows?
They'll need to wittle that list for in person interviews down to like 4 or 5 by the time this week is over to have time to get these 2nd round guys into the building and finished with their interviews. I'm not sure i can see that happening soon enough because i'm sure the Saints will have MM in and out very quickly and be totally done with their interview process by the time next weekend is over. We will for sure be the last team to hire our HC.
I hope he passes the initial screening and background check. What if he has a sub-600 FICO???Monken is the dark horse candidate and would also be an excellent choice imo. It’ll be fine.
Not necessarily, everyone will have to wait for Ben, or at least the Bears and Raiders, so the Raiders could get Ben and then we're last without Ben Johnson still on the board. If we are last that’s great cause it means Ben Johnson.
They aren’t interviewing for a mid level management job at Barnes and noble jfc .I feel the same way.

He looks more like a pasty white horse candidate but not here to argue semantics I agreeMonken is the dark horse candidate and would also be an excellent choice imo. It’ll be fine.

Do you have proof of the underlined part?Ummm, Vrabel caught 10 td’s as a Patriot (but was a linebacker), is in the Patriot hall of fame, and cusses like a sailor. He was never going to the Bears; Has zero to do with Williams.
You’re just upset because coaches are not running to Caleb Williams LOLYes, he clearly only factored in Drake Maye vs Caleb Williams. What other reason could he possibly have for wanting to go to New England?
Man I don’t know shit, but that sure would look like a rash decision. Tom Brady calls him up and he completely chnages his mind? lol
Caleb is a generational talent. Why isn’t every available coach knocking down the doors at Halas Hall to coach him? LOLYou think that’s why he chose the Patriots? Dense stupid mother ******. Anytime I see someone typing that “generational” shit I think of an 85 IQ parrot.
JMO, but I think these OC types want a blank slate at QB....they don't want some guy who is already like a reclamation project with big expectations. You can't win in that situation.Man I don’t know shit, but that sure would look like a rash decision. Tom Brady calls him up and he completely chnages his mind? lol
People shitting on the Bears for not looking like they know what they want, how does this make BJ look?

Because the doors are still up!How do you know they aren’t?
