So youtube finally dropped cobra kai. first two episodes are free then ep: 3-10 require youtube red. however, for all you 80s kids, youtube red offers a free month trial if you wanna grab it to watch all da modern karate kid episodes.

i binged all of them.. it was so so with some moments... then some kiddie fluff n mehs.... but i watched all 10 cause i found it entertaining....plus it be nostalgic for me i guess. it will lead to season 2.. n ill watch..

Karate Kid was horrible, this looks terrible too. Just because you can make something doesn't mean you should.

They are feeding on nostalgia. Lots of ways to do a generational spin-off without relying on nostalgic foreshadowing in the immediate episodes.

That being said, I'll take it over nothing. IMO, they had the opportunity to cut this half-measure bullshit with most of the logical conclusions, and actually draw strange results that lead to unexpected twists, not full out predictability.

i enjoyed it.. it exceeded my expectations cause i didnt have much hope to begin wiff.
