What's your thoughts on the guy? I personally love listening to him but I know he rubs some people the wrong way. I'm a big fan of people who say what they want and not care what people think.

I don't mind him, but I never listen anymore because there are way too many commercials during his show. One thing I didn't like, though, was the fact that he never let his callers say much. Callers would barely have enough time to make a point and are never allowed to retort to anything he says.

That's true but that may be ESPN's doing, not his.

ND is horrible.
Kind of a cartoonish caricature of what the general public wants in a sports broadcaster but isn't a dunce.

Tries a bit too hard in a very transparent way to be "controversial" to attract clicks and listenership.

But in the world of sports broadcasting, just having an IQ over 115 sets you apart as quick....and he qualifies I guess.

I'm not a regular listener but I like his show

He has many opinions that he's strongly consistent on..some I disagree with, some I agree with..but either way, he usually finds a way to make the discussion entertaining.

He's a caricature. The 'edgy' sports guy with the hot takes, such as: John Wall shouldn't dance (read: shouldn't act black) and knee injuries are worse than repeated concussions in football.

I like him sometimes.

But cannot stand how every day he rants about how fans HAVE to think about sports in terms of money and corporations and media shares. Dude actively disrespects fans and treats them like they are morons because they do not examine their team from the perspective of a financial analyst. He generally seems to be on a campaign to remove the fun part of fandom.

I only listen to ESPN 1000 during the football season, but I think the "I'm a big fan of people who say what they want and not care what people think" cliché needs to die when you say it on the internet and the radio. Who doesn't? It's not exactly a badge of honor. On the radio, it seems like you're accepting a humiliating position for being unable to be an actual journalist. On the Internet, join the club, for free.

He's entertaining enough on the rare occasion I get to listen to sports radio. I don't turn him off right away like many other guys so I guess that's a compliment.

He's a huge douchebag, says dumb shit to get the mouth breathers riled up, rarely has anything interesting to say.
