If OKC gets Griffin in the draft is it possible Collison becomes available? He is a step down from the bigger names but he is a solid veteran player who plays good post up defense and is a strong defensive rebounder. His contract extends beyond 2010 but his contract is very reasonable and if you can swing Hinrich for Collison and Atkins(cut Atkins) then you are fairly close to being able to bring Gordon back. Rose, Gordon, Salmons, Deng, Tyrus, Collison, Noah and Miller plus 2 draft picks is an improvement.

Oh the Thunder would love to get their hands on Kirk. They would make Kirk the starter shit Westbrook to the two, Durant to the three, Green to the bench, Griffin to the four, Kristic at the 5. However I wouldnt make any deals with them unless they gave up another first rounder to us.

I would love Collison as a big man to bring off the bench to play about 20 minutes a game. He is a big body, he hustles and gets the job done. He is a tad under-rated in my opinion, all teams needs a player like Collison on their team.

If that teams feels like they are on the cusp of something special maybe we can do a sign and trade of Gordon to the Thunder for Collison and their 25th pick.

They dont need Gordon nor should they give him the money since they will need to keep their own guys in a few years.

Why won't they need Gordon?? Because they have Westbrook who is a terrible shooter? Yep, makes a lot of sense to not try to get a 20 point scorer for approx. 10 million per when you have the chance.

They have the cap space, and if they have an opportunity to trade for a player like Gordon, I think they think about it long and hard because they aren't going to get many players eager to play for that team in the near future.

If they want Hinrich, I'd do Hinrich for a 1st (they can absorb the difference under the cap).

Resign Gordon.

Roster next year:
Rose, Gordon, Salmons, Deng, Noah, Tyrus, Miller as your primary 7 players and you have 3 1st rounders in this draft.

I'd trade any 1st rounders in this draft that I could for 1st rounders in 2010. I don't know if that'd be possible, but I'd move all 3 for 2010 1sts if I could. Maybe I'd keep 1 of them to add depth this team.

Is the 2010 class meant to be that much deeper than this years is it?

Who are the hot prospects to look out for? I thought next years was about the same level as this years, though next year on draft express there seems to be a lot more big men projected to be in the draft.

Collison wouldn't be a bad addition to the team, but giving up Hinrich for him is a lot to give. OKC would have to give a draft pick or two or another decent player for Hinrich since Hinrich is a top 15 pg in this league. Otherwise it's pretty much giving up Hinrich for much less than he's worth which I don't think is fair to him. But since when is life fair I suppose.
