Ok, pace is going Linebacker crazy this past month, and I get it we need depth.. ok, great. But there are other spots we have needs at! Like the OL!

I know that these are all pretty much vet min signings recently, and it won't affect cap space all that much.. But I mean how many of these signings can we take until we run out of cap space.. We still need a center and OL help overall..

I won't be excited about a signing until it's someone who can help out up front on offense.

We need a guy like Stefan wisneiwski, I get his shoulder isn't all great right now and he wants a lot of money.. But he can still turn back into a very good guard or center. I say take the chance pace! We need help there big time. If we want to be a strong running team we need some people who can block.

I mean.. What are the other options? Throwing grandpapa garza back out there again?

Cap is only applied to top 53 spots on the roster. After that the money spent doesn't count. Lowest contracts of the 53 are probably in the 500k range. So, sign a guy for 600k the impact to your cap is probably only around 100k. You follow?

There are like 4 posters on CCS that have "scoot" names. Look it up.

Coincidence? Or Scoot scootin'?

Didn't realize 3 LBs were considered "going crazy" on LBs... especially given the switch to 3-4, the lack of LB talent, and just having one of the worst LB groups in the league.

So... You're criticising Pace for attacking a definite need for us (LB)? I agree that we need some O-linemen, but give Pace the benefit of the doubt. So far he's made some really great moves as a GM, and the O-line is probably the first thing on his mind at the moment. But that doesn't mean that he shouldn't upgrade the team at other places whilst he's looking for O-line help. To only focus on one position on the entire team would be downright stupid.

When it comes to Wiz, things could be worse with his shoulder than we know of and/or he's simply demanding too much money. We just don't have the facts that Pace has.

Don't really need a center with shoulder problems. They need to draft a guy and let him develop a year. They need a young, physical guy. I'm tired of the middle always needing help.

You will get to the limit of 90(?) players before you run out of cap space if everyone is for vet minimum because only the top 51 salaries count at this time.

ND is horrible.

Garza is awful, and he must have made a deal with the devil to be in the league this long....it's unreal.

The Devil, you remember him:

So even if Wiz doesn't check out medically you want Pace to give him 4 million dollars? Smart.

Team is making the change to a 3-4, so realistically there's no way of telling which of the previous LBs will fit. I think the Pace strategy is to get a lot of options and have them compete in camp. No doubt some of the signings will be cut, but he's focused on having 4 quality options at ILB come Sept.

Better too many LBs than too few going into TC.....they will look over their roster during the OTAs.....and get a feel for who is going to fit and who won't. Pace might want to bring in one or two other 3-4 FA DEs to light a fire under them for career salvaging Roster Spots.

We shall see if any quality veteran Safeties/CB shake loose with the post draft cuts. Could use one or two vets for depth there too...
