-- Always a Rangers fan... that is my team of the East. I should have clarified... I am not rooting for the Leafs as if I were to root for the Yotes if the Hawks were eliminated. I was only a Habs fan because the Rangers got eliminated in a skills comp.

Thanks, Hun, it is pretty freakin' sweet, but you say that as if you aren't a Hawks fan. I know you like the Canucks, but I have always thought of you as a friend and fellow Hawks fan.

Not a chance. They are a bunch of pussies who run their mouths until confronted. Unless they out number the opposition 10-1, then they get balls.

Have not even had the displeasure of going to a game in Philli i have to agree with RK. Leaf fans +Canuck fans > Flyer fans. Some of the shit I heard and read about the Flyer fans this year they are officially the worst fan base in the NHL. I always knew they were bad but this year they really got to me.



As for the Nucks. Even though a handful of them were dinks these playoffs (esp to our players and frankly themselves) the majority of Canuck fans are still decent folks. I have only been threatened once at a Canucks game and that was just a drunk idiot who even all the Canuck fans in the stands hated. Still have issues and always will with Canucks media and how full of shit and bias they are. They are the problem!! They make Canuck fans stupid. i also hate 90% of the roster.



As for the Leafs they can hold the drought as long as they want lol. Stu Im pissed off at you for jumping on the Leafs wagon!! I will never eeeeeeeever like the Leafs. Their image 1st asshole non hockey caring fans can go **** themselves. I like the real Leaf fan though, have no issues with the die hard Leaf fan. Like us they have stuck with a team for a long time and a lot of disapointment. I can admire that. I hope they never win a cup though. That's thanks to Wendy Clark and Doug Gilmour...can't think of 2 bigger dick heads (Modano not included).

The difference between Leaf fans and Canuck fans that the Leaf fans are not delusional about their chances of wining the big prize. Leaf fans no they have no chance and Canuck fans think it's guaranteed. What little respect I had for Canuck fans is gone after their behaviour this playoff.

I don't know any Canuck fans...

I'm surrounded by Leaf fans though, being only 100 km from Toronto. I must say that they love their team, through thick and through thin. They're generally very realistic about their team, recognizing the Leafs limitations. They don't like their teams ownership - The Ontario Teachers Federation who are content as long as the profits keep coming in - about $50 million a year.

One thing about Leaf fans though - they're LEAF fans, not HOCKEY fans. Most of them don't bother to watch the playoffs if the Leafs aren't there.

Another thing, I don't find Leaf fans putting down other teams often - maybe its because all the other teams are better. They had a good time cutting up Ottawa a few years ago...
