Oh Goody.
We can have a 10 guard roster like Detroit.
Maybe Captain Kirk and Willie Green can be Noahs backup center. Or better yet, JL3 or Teague can also give us front court backup.
I'm so excited. This is such lovely news :troll:
:obama:

Yeah...it is lame news haha

Conspiracy Alert: GarPax probably reads all our posts & purposely doesn't go after or sign the players we need/want to be on the team.

Are they going to fire Benny the Bull? I like our mascot. Please GarPax. Benny is so much better than Hinrich!

At the very least Hinrich on a $2-3M contract isn't too bad. People harped on him when he made 9M, but at a third of the price? That's not so bad. Willie Green is bad though...please don't go after him.

*sigh* This offseason is really starting to scare me. If our best move is drafting Marquis Teague, I'm going to start rooting for the Pacers.

I like Willie Green. The guy can get hot and he can score in bunches at times. I would like him to come off the bench.

Some of the responses are hilarious. The Bulls are getting rid of players who are pretty much replaceable and getting cheaper players. Watson isn't a better option than Hinrich if Hinrich is healthy. And up to the point that he picked Kentucky and played there, I have heard that Teague was better than his brother for a few years now.

And the crazy complaints about the Bulls doing nothing...are just that. Crazy. What can they do? They have Boozer, Noah, Deng and Rose and a limited amount of money to work with. I don't think they can pull too many rabbits out of hats right now.

Oh My.
How can you defend Hinrich after what he did to King Gordon?
Sell out.

Second time in two teams, that Hinrich could lose a starting role(albeit temporary) to a Teague? :D

Honestly, if we can get him for less than $5, i think we're silly to not get him. We're going to have a bit of extra spending money anyways since Asik's salary won't be our responsibility.

Wrong you are sir.
The Bulls reportedly have just offered Asik a 4 year contract.

K.C Johnson just tweeted that Hinrich is getting a lot of interest and that it's going to take more than the vet minimum to sign him.

hey you start gettin desperate when you think about lucas gettin big minutes all year

Ill give Hinrich some credit.
At least he has a brain and can defend multiple positions.
And can handle the ball.
At the right price, Kirk could help the Bulls. I'm not denying that.

I admit, when I think of JL3, It makes Kirk Hinrich look like a major star to me.

Kirk would not be a bad pickup at all...
Could be much worse. At least Kirks signing would garentee that Pargo will not be a Bull again.

LoL, Maybe Hinrich is still bitter at PaxGar for dumping him in on the Wizards so the Bulls could afford to sign Lebron James......We got Boozer, Korver and Bogans instead and I would rather have Hinrich on my team than any of the three I just mentioned.

Hinrich would spit in Paxsons face if he insulted him with a veterans minimum offer.
Hinrich probably told Pax to "**** off"
And he's going to take it to the bank elsewhere and I can't say I blame him.

I Saw that...but it's not the same salary. If I were Asik, I'd wanna make the same amount in fewer years
