Cop stops bike thief short of a first down

I better point out the cops weren't just after him for stealing this bike. He ran from the police earlier in the day because he had warrants out for burglary and several other things.

I love it when dipshits run from the cops or some other stupid shit like that then whine that they're hurting them during the cuffing process. Yeah, you ran, you think they aren't going to be rough with you to prevent more resistance/danger?

Almost seemed staged, given the camera position. Sort of weird that he rode basically right to where the camera was at and the cop tackled him right there.

I don't know. If you look at where all the cops are/come from it appears as though his best bet was going straight at the camera guy. There's all those squads down the street initially, the tackler came from the adjacent corner from the looks of things, then the fat bald one comes from off-camera right just after the tackle. If he'd beat the cop that made the takedown the only one left to beat would be the random plain-clothes dude that was second on the pile (and the traffic of course).
