and the liberal take over is almost complete. whats next up we don't arrest or stop criminals we stand idly by while someones getting mugged or raped and say its not their fault they had a bad childhood. the left has swung things so overboard shit like this doesn't even shock anymore. yes im being a bit extreme by my examples but the fact is im not wrong.

I've talked to some of my family that are Chicago cops about this incident . They say it's not uncommon..They mentioned 1 hospital in Chicago that refuses to let cops in who wear their guns, even in the performance of their duty...If the hospital calls the cops and they respond , the hospital tells them to remove their firearms and turn them over to the hospital security guard and they will be returned when the cops leave..Needless to say, that hospital gets 0 service.
Then they told me about a Denny's restaurant in some town that had a group of swat officers eating there. They were in plain clothes but had their police radios on. They were wearing their badges around their neck on some sort of chain as well and some had them on their belt...The manager came over in the middle of their meal, and told em to either put their weapons in their car or leave. They left...The Chief out there got so mad he prohibited cops from eating in that place while working..I guess it's a big thing out there.

The officer showed up wearing a tactical uniform that apparently some kids didn't recognize as being law enforcement, so they went home and told their parents a man was on the school grounds with a gun.

Based on that letter, it sounds like they are resolving the situation perfectly fine... I suppose its conceivable that some kids would not know what a SWAT uniform might look like, but something tells me it was a small few. Guys in SWAT tactical gear are on tons of movies, TV shows, the news often times....
If that school ever gets hit by a shooter they sure as heck better recognize a SWAT officer, probably will be the person saving their lives.

Just goes to show that ya can't trust the media...I must have read 25 articles on this incident over the last 2 days, and not one of them mentioned the cop was in a SWAT/TACTICAL uniform as opposed to a general police uniform. Although most tactical uniforms say POLICE on them, we can't be sure. And dealing with kids, ya can't expect them to figure that out. From the letter, it sounds like the Principal actually did a pretty good job with the situation..And we are supposed to trust the media to give us the straight facts on our elected leaders?...Yeah right!!
