What do you all think of trying to trade for Corey Brewer? He had good #s last season for Minnesota...13PPG, 3.4RPG, 2.4APG...He's a restricted FA after this upcoming season. What would you give for him? Or, do you even want him?

btw, it'd be cool to have two Brewers @ the 2 spot - haha.

Only if no one else is available and u fail for Rudy. I would trade JJ and a 2nd round pick for him.

Pretty sure he's worth more than that.

He's okay. IMO Corey is not a starter on a playoff team, unless that playoff team has studs at the other 3-4 spots.

He does have room to still grow, so who knows.

I like the idea of platooning him with Ronnie Brewer...he's tall and lanky and could be reunited w/ Jo....

but that's all I got.

I think he's shown nice progression last season and like mentioned, has plenty of room to improve. Not really a 2 but more of a swing guy, A nice addition but i would rather use JJ and picks for Rudy and get ourselves a legit 2.

If i had to guess, at least that much. We always just throw JJ out there like he's valuable but is he really? IDK maybe teams like his potential but i think a 1st is a must for Rudy.

Well, I don't think JJ has a spot on this team. I mean...maybe if he got more minutes...but being a SF, he'd be matched up w/ other SFs, and he'd have 2 fouls in the first few minutes of every single game....ugh...but, if a team can be patient w/ him...it might work out.

If you can get someone like Rudy or Brewer who could come in and contribute immediately, i would definitely deal JJ. I think he has a spot on this team but right now its near the end of the bench. I know we havent played a game yet or even run a team practice but with the acquisitions we've made combined with the talent we already had, i really think we're one of the better teams in the East. The more players to help us now, the better. We definitely arent as top heavy as Miami but i think the rest of the East is beatable and if Rose turns into the superstar that many thinks he is, we can come out of the East. Health is key and hopefully the coaching is on point.
