Maybe he'll realize the season starts in April not June.

I hope he's signed long term. $8 million a year for as long as he'll take. Give him the Julio Cruz deal.

No way. I don't care how a player is doing in other peripheral stats, when his career OBP is .321, he's not worth a long term deal anywhere near $5-6 million+ per. Oh yeah, and people seem to forget that he's already 29, and has yet to figure out how to lay off bad pitches and take walks.

He's still in rarified air for current players. He's worth it, I don't need his OBP to be high, I am not asking it to be. His pop, clutch hitting, and defense that has improved more then any player in baseball in the last two years (yep, I said it) makes him that valuable.
