Can anyone ever see Jordan returning to the Bulls as an executive of some capacity?

I mean, the dude has a statue of himself out there and he couldn't do any worse than Johnny Pax.

Would you welcome a Jordan return?

(As long as he wouldn't make any draft picks)

Last week I heard that in '87 he wanted the Bulls to get Joe Wolf (instead of Polynice who they traded for Pippen).

No. If Jordan was to come back to the Bulls organization, it would have to be in a pure powerless figurehead role. I don't think Jordan would be interested in such a role, and the Bulls organization wouldn't be interested in MJ making any moves of substance for the team.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Methinks no way. Even if Reinsdorf wasn't mad at him after that speech, there's no position here that he would want that would keep him safe from himself.

But what if he treats him to lunch and apologizes? Maybe even buys him a Starbucks...?

It would all be good.

I only could see Jordan coming back to the Bulls in a player role.

And yes, Jordan can do a lot worse than John Paxson has done....a lot of executives have done a worse job managing their teams than John Paxson....and Michael Jordan happens to be one of them.
