Who has been on one recently? I'd like to take a trip over my Christmas Break, and I've never done it so I'm looking for the most information that can be given.

What's the best cruise line?
What's the best packages?
Where is the best place to go?
Is it worth going over that holiday season?

And here is a stupid question: When I see a 4 day excursion price of $479 is that for the entire trip, or is that per night?

I went on an Alaskan cruise last spring with Royal Caribbean and it was awesome. However, that's probably not an option in this case.

That price is for the entire trip, BUT! That price is the absolute barest dirt cheap price that they sell. We got caught in that trap... There are a lot of worthwhile options to add and they add up quickly.

Some people are big ship people, some are small ship.

Big ships aim to entertain more on board, and are more structured. While small ships aim to hit more port destinations and are more intimate if you want to get to know others on board. It depends on what you are looking for.

479? That's a pretty good deal. I went tk the bahamas. St Thomas St marten and Porta Rico. That should be for the whole trip I went on a week cruise and it was 850$ everything included of course.

This absolutely does nothing to answer my questions.

Your question is rather vague. I've been on a few cruises. And the thing about a cruise, is it's just a resort on a big boat. So you have shit resorts, you have awesome resorts. You can go on 10 cruises, and get 10 different experiences.

If you have never been, then just go and see for yourself. Only one thing can ruin every cruise for you, is if you get sick easily on a boat.
