Think he just wants a chance to start. If he doesn't win it I'm guessing he's fine with pitching out of the pen.

I dont mind him as the 4th or 5th bp guy but 4.25 mil is a ton for a 6th-7th inning; 1 inning reliever.

If he had to start for extended time; something really went wrong (injuries, innefectiveness, etc)

Cubs bullpen is going to be loaded with guys that can possibly be stretched out in the event of an injury. Good thing to have
