Matusz has a career .208/.269/.358 against lefties with 10.75 k/9 and 2.28 bb/9. He's been dealing with a intercostal strain that's hurt him but if the cubs get him going he could be a nice pick up.

I've never known how to pronounce his last name. Even if I've heard 9 times during broadcasts.

HIS NAME MAKES NO SENSE!

Why is Richards even on the roster to begin with?

Could be to just get him innings so he can work through some of the trouble he's had.

He's a starter by trade. The Orioles made him a reliever when they were trying to win and he wasn't being good but i also think that he simply was too overworked and throwing too hard to be an effective reliever. Might be a good starter because he wasn't a good reliever.
