Probably should just save the money for draft picks and trades to acquire prospects in return, but this is probably just a roster-filler trade. Jim Hendry pretty much has to know this season is over and is probably just looking for somebody to eat innings before Rodrigo Lopez and Ramon Ortiz are completely useless.

He's useless, Lopez is useless, Davis was useless, Ortiz is useless, Silva was useless. The trend keeps going on and more to come. I think the Cubs were paid byt these players to sign them so maybe they can get their career back on the right trade. But that's not gona happen because they suck.

It probably is a roster filler but I'd rather have a player move up from Double A than sign these sucky pictures that mean absolutely shit.

If he does get called up, I'd be pissed. I know JJ is stuggling but rather him get major league expierence. Oh have a jump like Castro and Colvin, call a player from Double A. Top pitching prospect Trey McNutt (I know he's been injured tho) or Rafael Dolis (just came off DL, could be future closer). Or even a player who's pitching lights out in the minors this year, Beeler.

Meh, upon second thought...let Hendry trade AS to Baltimore, home of the Cubs ****-ups...like Andy MacPhail.

Maybe we'll get lucky on a few prospects...lol

Used to love killing this guy in the Show... would always torch him for like 8 runs in 2 or 3 innings before he was taken out

I thought Doug Davis and Dave Bush were the same person. He just changed his name.
