Seriously this wouldn't be listed here if the guy hadn't played somewhat successful for the Sox and was epicly bad for the Cubs. The Cubs will get some cash for Lillibridge and the Yankees will get another has been that they hope might keep them afloat instead of trading real prospects for real talent.

Cubs Den posted the ide aof the Cubs getting some international bonus money. I'm skeptical the Cubs get anything more than a few 10k, if that, for Lillibridge, but that would make this deal a pretty big win for the Cubs to get something useful for him.

Meaningful, strategical, moves like this are huge steps going forward in helping with trying to get the "bigger' moves done right.
Nice to see Command Central warming up for the big trade deadline ahead.
