Cup Pics!!!!!!!!!!

Took this about 20 minutes ago. Was driving by the UC to get my hat and Campbell was pulling out with the Cup and Burish in the back. Pay no attention to the weird angle on the wheels, taken from a moving vehicle of a moving vehicle.

And for those who haven't seen it yet.....Tazer at about 7am leaving their usual post-game spot. ("borrowed" form Sarah)

Then the other part of me thought, hell if I had the opportunity to be there

lol at you getting all worked up on some silly superstitions. to be fair, skille did play a few games this season. bickell was also partying with the cup and he played what a few games in the playoff and a handful of games in the regular season.

Tradition and respect for the game is what I was taught as a kid.



You EARNED the right to touch the Cup by winning it.



Drinking out of it and raising it above your head before you won it is not superstition, it is disrespecting everyone who has their name on the Cup.

If you play for the team in the playoffs, even one game... you helped them get to that point and deserve to touch/drink from the Cup.



Bickell played 4 games in the playoffs, he is fine... Skille, well... not so much.



Skille didn't lift it over his head, he drank from it... I'm not too superstitious but it didn't look like he paraded with the thing over his head, hell, if I had the chance I'd drink from it too.

Bickel = allowed to do whatever he wants with Cup.

Skille = idiot who just cursed himself forever

Ton = allowed to do whatever he wants with Cup since he is a fan and has no reasonable hope of ever winning one as a player.

He and the other guys were on the practice squad. That's helping IMHO. If you think Dale should get a sip then these kids that helped should too. Think about Fras not getting his name on it, but playing nearly every game this season and some rounds of the playoffs...

Depending on what said fans do for the franchise on their own volition is this allowed... From what I know of him, trust me, he's allowed to.



A majority of us here, if not all of us, are allowed for different reasons.



Those 8,000 fans who went to the games every day, the people who remember 71', and those who lived to be a part of 61', whoever they are, should get the first sips.



Bandwagon jumpers are not allowed.
