Not sure how many of you have read/heard about this, but I think it's great. I don't really care for his beliefs, but in this case, bravo. Schilling, proud that his daughter got a softball scholarship for college, tweeted about it. Then in came all the nasty and disgusting tweets from random dickheads with keyboard courage. Sure, he should have expected some immature replies, but some of these were flat out disgusting and crossed the line. The two people that he singled out ended up getting their twitter accounts deleted and one of them got fired from his job. If I were a celebrity, I probably wouldn't be tweeting about my daughter, but he did, and defended her like any parent should.

As a Dad I applaud it. He just did what any father would want to do. Talk to your kids about twitter/facebook ect. That shit won't go away after they post if it goes viral. Or maybe don't go through life trying to be the douchebag clown king of the interweb?

Bravo to Curt Schilling. His response was fantastic.

I'm glad he called these d-bags out and identified them. Bad things will probably happen to them as a result.

And that's a good thing.
