It is NOT OVER. Not over by any means. Did anyone watch the Blackhawks almost pull it off from down 3-0?

We are coming back to the United Center, we will be determined, and home court will be a confidence booster. The players just need to keep their heads straight. We swept this team in the regular season, who says we can't take three in a row, with two at home? Take this one and build some momentum, then play hard in Miami and grind that one out. That takes us back home for the decision game.

I don't understand why everyone is pulling this heartbreak crap already, we haven't lost the series until we lose another game. It's the NBA, where amazing happens, remember?

The last time an NBA team came back from a 3-1 deficit in the Conference Finals was in 1981 when the Boston Celtics came back and won against Philadelphia. Nearly every game in that series was epically close. If more people paid attention to the NBA then it would have received alot of hype.

Game 1 @ Boston: Philadelphia 105, Boston 104
Game 2 @ Boston: Boston 118, Philadelphia 99
Game 3 @ Philadelphia: Philadelphia 110, Boston 100
Game 4 @ Philadelphia: Philadelphia 107, Boston 105
Game 5 @ Boston: Boston 111, Philadelphia 109
Game 6 @ Philadelphia: Boston 100, Philadelphia 98
Game 7 @ Boston: Boston 91, Philadelphia 90

That being said, I just dont see it for us. We'll probably play another competitive game, but we simply don't have what it takes to beat Miami's defense unless we are nailing three pointers left and right and Miami is not.

These games were actually closer than the end result even game 1 when we kicked the shit out of em

Games 1,2,3 were close for about 3 1/2 quarters..we pulled away in Game 1, Miami has pulled away in the other two, and Miami pulled away in OT in Game 4.

i'd hope for the best and prepare for the worst....it seems 3-1 comebacks are more common in baseball and hockey than basketball...but that doesn't rule out anything entirely

People are just being pessimistic because, realistically, we are probably going to lose the series. Yes, we will all be rooting for the Bulls come tomorrow night and possibly Saturday and beyond, but it's our defense mechanism kicking in early. The early pessimism makes it hurt less if we do end up losing tomorrow.

That being said, Go Bulls!!!! Three wins in a row against the Heat is asking for a lot. But I really didn't think Miami would've been able to get away with 3 consecutive wins either. There's my optimism for you :)

This is not hockey. Realistically, the Heat would need to choke away this series for the Bulls to have any chance. It's hard as hell to be optimistic

Against any other team I'd say it could be done... But against Miami who has 2 super stars in LeBron and Wade. Plus the way Bosh has been playing, it's hard for me to think we have a chance.

Well I definitely hope we can do it, but it's not exactly irrational to think that we won't. We haven't played well for 3 straight games and it's glaringly apparent that we can't close out games unless we're hot from 3. I doubt we'll even make 7 3s in game 5 with the way we've been shooting. That said, I'd at least like us to be the team that pushes the Heat past 5 games...

Exactly..you took the words right out of my mouth..I was going to make a similar thread but you beat me to it..I wrote a thread like this on the espn messageboard and they laughed at me..they are a bunch of ignorant panzies on he espn bulls board.I'm infamous over there and have been banned like 50 times...Anyway, no matter what happens, I am very proud of this Bulls team for the simple fact I don't think anyone in the world could of predicted that we would of had the best record in the league last fall...We took giant steps this year and Derrick Rose won MVP and deserved it..We signed the best coach we have had since Phil..Loul Deng really stepped up bigtime this season and has guarded Lebitch as well as anyone can..I'm surprised he didn't make he all defensive 1st or 2nd team.....And most importantly, THE SERIES IS NOT OVER YET AND I THINK THE HEAT FANS HAVE PREMATURELY EJACULATED LIKE THEY ALWAYS DO.I'M SURPRISED THEY HAVEN'T HAD A PARADE YET IN MIAMI..THE BULLS FIGHT HARD EVERYNIGHT AND IT IS POSSIBLE TO COME BACK FROM FROM 3 DOWN..ITS HAPPENED BEFORE AND IS BOUND TO HAPPEN AGAIN..THIS IS THE NBA AND I'VE SEEN CRAZIER THINGS HAPPEN...1994 DENVER NUGGETS AS AN EXAMPLE?????...the fat lady hasn't sung yet and I hear no music so don't give up Bulls fans..it ain't over yet.....GO BULLS!!!!!!

Bulls win this next game, somehow win in miami then this series can get very interesting. Honestly though i don't see them winning game 6 maybe even lose game 5. But if they can just get some will power and fight back into this series. I believe if the bulls could win game 6 in miami theres nothing that tells me they would not win this series.

The 1994 Denver Nuggets never came back from a 3-1 deficit to win a series.. they came back from a 2-0 deficit to beat a #1 seed then came back from a 3-0 deficit in the 2nd round to tie the series at 3..but lost Game 7.

For teams that have come back from a 3-1 deficit...look here:
Mailbag: The 8 Teams That Came Back From a 3-1 Deficit

Trust me I am qquite aware that the nuggets came back fron a 0-2 deficit and not a 1-3 deficit...but they had to do the impossible and win 3 in a row to advance just like the bulls do.....it was just an example of a team that sticks out in my mind that was counted out....The Bulls are pretty much counted out before the fat lady has sung...YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND MY POINT????? PLUS I SAID EVEN OF IF WE DON'T, I AM PROUD OF OUR TEAM...THEY HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO WIN EVERY GAME AGAINST THE HEAT....SO THEY STILL HAVE A CHANCE TO BEAT THEM..OUR BULLS CAN STILL MAKE SOMTHING HAPPEN AND MAYBE THEY WON'T...I JUST DON'T WANT THEM TO BE QUITTERS AND I'M SURE THEY ARNT...FIGHT TELL THE END!!!!

Winning three straight against this team would be very tough. I don't think it's gonna happen but I sure hope it does.

Plus since the Mavs already won their conference division championship, Miami will want to end it tonight. My prediction for tonight......
eh....
Miami wins by 13.

The Bulls seem defeated already. Did you see the way they acted after game 4?
