Finally the holes at OC, LT and TE have been fixed.

No more excuses. Cutler will have a great season in 2013.

Still need another natural guard, a center, and a burner at WR.

But I agree with the "no more excuses" part.

I like Cutler. But if he doesn't start making a difference (and not in a negative way), then let's see what Trestman can develop.
That's my silver lining. If Cutler under-performs yet again, at least the Lovie boat has sailed and the Bears aren't developing the next Caleb Hanie.

he already makes a huge difference our record when hes on the field and when he is not should be an easy way to know that

I never said he doesn't. But now he needs to show he can "get over the hump". First off, he needs to walk into the 1st GB/CHI game and just fucking own it. If he can out-shoot Rogers, then....well, as Lovie Smith famously said, "We'll go from there.".

The middle of the line still looks piss poor, and though they look better at LT and OC, they aren't necessarily fixed. I'm not going to make any guarantees with Cutler because I honestly have no clue how he's going to respond.

Another year, another system for Jay to learn.
I expect we will see improvements this year on offense, maybe not the quantum leap that some seem to think will happen, but enough of an improvement that will warrant extending Cutler. (not that he doesn't deserve to be extended now).
A new system with a real OC and HC running the show. A TE that can block and actually catch the damn ball. A (hopefully) improved O Line that will allow him to step up in the pocket and into his throws. Yeah, I'm expecting an improvement and Cutler to be a Bear for the remainder of his career. Year 2 and beyond with Trestman is where I expect Jay's "Potential" to be come reality.

Personally, I have yet to see Cutler ever excuse himself from poor play, no matter what the circumstances were. I've never seen him make an excuse for anything. So, I'm not sure what this means.
