I don’t get the hate for this guy. The OL was dog

I just saw some stat that showed he was LAST in the NFL for something—yardage, Here we go, found it—
RB is a NEED in Chicago The far right column sorts this chart called Rushing yards over expectation per attempt D'Andre Swift finished last in the NFL This stat considers defenders in the box, OL play, etc. RBs needed a minimum of 90 rushing attempts to qualify

He's an edge RB, not gonna run him up the middle or shouldn't.
That's why I don't get Jeanty. Similar size and build to Swift.
They need a hammer at RB.
I don’t get the hate for this guy. The OL was doglast year. There’s a reason why 3 starters got replaced this offseason. Need a bigger back to rotate with him but he’s still a solid back IMO.
Lacks vision and goes down easy. 3rd down or change of pace back. Should never be your No 1.
They ran him too much last year. He should be getting 10-12 carries a game max. But he should also see 4-5 targets per games on average.
Get a stronger RB to pair with him, he'll be fine.
You know NFL teams use advanced stats & metrics right? Just say you don’t understand them if you don’t want to use them lolPeople were bragging about Waldron’s EPA too. These BS stats crack me up
I agree, but the best RB in the nfl this year who should have broken the all time record if he played week 17 had 3.9ypc the year prior
Oline matters.

Johnson will kick him to the curb next offseason. He doesn’t need to be replaced this year outright but he’s not sticking around in 2026.They do and EPA is a stat i like, but swift being that bad in it is a bit skewed considering the fact our oline and receivers were horrible at run blocking.
This should(hopefully) be the biggest change with big johnson. We tried to run so many sweeps with swift and they'd get eaten up instantly because the tackle and receivers just whiffed on blocks.
Philly realized they had to upgrade last offseason. That he wasn’t efficient or explosive enough. They then went and got Barkley. Swift won’t be here next year.
Who says he relied on that? Philly & Roseman are obsessed with metrics. Same with Baltimore. The Bears are just bad at it.How did they work for Poles the last 3 years?![]()
The argument is to upgrade the roster lol. Which every GM should do. Replacing Swift isn’t exactly difficult. He’s an average all-around back; even his standard stats prove that. No wonder why Detroit was willing to ship him out. (Another team that has a really good advanced analytics front office)They got a potential HOF back. Of course they upgraded. Poles tried to get him too. The argument isn’t if Swift is Saquon which he obviously isn’t.
