Simeon's D.J. Williams made history when he committed to coach John Groce and Illinois on Monday. The 6-7, 4* forward became the first player in the Wolverines' boys basketball program to commit before his senior season.

Still raw, but he has soooooo much potential. Will be a 5-star after his senior season. Especially since he'll be the go-to guy.

It's so encouraging to see them building relationships in the Chicago area. I believe Alexander is a real possibility and I also think they'll make the tournament this season.

Sounds like it is between Illinois and Kansas for Alexander but I'm still holding out hope for DePaul ha.

DePaul would be cool too, but that's probably a stretch.
