D. Rose - 9 things he needs to work on?

I just saw this on the RGM board - I thought I post it here.

That's a lot and I hope he does improve in those areas. If he does, he will be one of the top players in the NBA.

If I had to guess, it would be himself. I think when he came to training camp, they talked about what he will be working on during the game and what he will need to learn to be a great player in this league, and he probably had it laminated to remind him over and over throughout the year.

You could argue that this thing probably made him a better player coz he always sees it and knows what he needs (needed) to improve on.

Let's give the coaching staff or Paxson credit here,I think they created that. The slogan at the bottom was the team mission statement: "Energy, Focus, No Excuses". And do you think he would print it out on an official Bulls sheet of paper, possibly but I bet this was Vinny or possibly his trainer or whoever works closest with him out of the staff. Also do you think Derrick would use sentences like "Learn NBA Personell", he's 20 it would be "Know NBA Players" or "Study Ballers" ha.

Yeah, probably coaching staff or paxson created that but it was probably Rose's idea to laminate it and put it in his locker so he can look at it everyday to remind him what he needs to work on to be a great player.

You don't see this on everyone's locker - Rose is special and he wants to be a great player. These are all the signs.

You don't see it on anyone else's locker-room because there isn't any attention on those guys. I bet all the players have them on their locker-room or at least have been given one, the media just don't gravitate towards them like they do with Rose.

Ehh, seems poorly designed.

If it's meant to be a list of things he really needs to learn then it's a crappy list, because most of the things don't fall under that category.

If it's meant to be a list of things to remember to psych himself up, then it's a crappy list, because it's not narrow enough and has too many talking points that don't fit.

Either way, it's a list that doesn't have a precise purpose.
