I liked what I saw from Clendening, but I'm not sure he will ever fit in with what Q wants out of his bottom pairing.</p>

Dahlbeck makes more sense. I hope we see him over Rundblad, although at some point I'd really like to see what Johns has. The guy is a +11 in Rockford in 20 games. Hes always been a physical beast at the lower levels, I wanna see how he matches up in the NHL.</p>

Interestingly enough, last year I wasn't so sure the Hawks had enough depth on defense within their system. If you take a look at them now, they might have some legitimate NHL ready depth in Rockford.</p>

Brennan (how come no one ever mentions how beastly this guy has been for Rockford?), Johns, Dahlbeck, Cuminsky, Clendening. Hard to ignore the fact that the IceHogs have some very good D-men playing for them right now.</p>
