I attended the Blackhawks parade and rally as well as watched the WGN coverage on my DVR today. One thing that troubled me was not one person mentioned Dale Tallon at all. I mean everyone was mentioned on stage including the assistant equipment manager but not one person gave Dale Tallon a mention. Pretty much every player on the team was signed or drafted by Tallon and I was certain either Rocky or Stan would give a quick thank you to Dale.

Not to rain on the parade and I know Dale is no longer a member of the organization but to people that don't follow the team as closely should know Dale Tallon, current GM of the Panthers and former Hawks GM and director of player personnel, is a huge reason why we are Stanley Cup Champions. Who knows maybe if someone else was our GM we might have Phil Kessel and Van Riemsdyk instead of Toews and Kane.

Thank you Dale Tallon.

Last I heard/read Rocky said that Dale would be getting a ring. I think Dale got a raw deal, and the tender issue was just used against him to put Bowman in that position.

Would've been nice if someone mentioned him.

But I bet he's already up to his neck with work in trying to turn around that abysmal Florida franchise, so I'm not surprised he wasn't there.

Glad he's getting a ring...

I agree he got shafted, but at least he put the team together first
