It wasn't all on Rex but my point is that he had the
worst QB performance in a decade of SBs. It's pretty sad that the Bears make it the SB after 20 years and then see their QB piss down his leg essentially. The D was playing without two stars and was hanging tough but Rex just killed them.
Look at the play by play, even if you only look at the box score, he threw 2 ints and lost a fumble. He was putrid. Compare that to some of the heroic losing performances we see in the SB. The Bears two scoring drives were good field position followed by a long run from the 43 to the five and Grossman to Muhammed 4 yd TD. The second was FG where the offence got great field position and ran the ball into FG range.
