Danks or Fukudome ?

Danks. Don't care that he "needs more atbats". He's had plenty.

I feel comfortable giving the outfielders some rest if Danks is going in for them. Not so sure if I feel comfortable with Dome going in to give rest.

I don't know. Fukudome looks old and done (which is why KW got him). Danks has had what? 6 ABs in the majors? I'd go with Danks to see what he can do offensively (from what I understand, his defensive skills are pretty damn good). If he blows, then just send him back down.

But when Tank is healthy how many ABs is Danks going to get?

thats my whole point. he isnt going to be a part of the future unless rios is traded in the offseason. viciedo and de aza have the spots on lock.

But if the Sox have Danks up and not Fukudome, they have more freedom to give guys some rest. Because I'm pretty sure that Danks can play all three outfield positions, but I'm not sure.

If they have someone that is solid offensively and defensively like Danks might be, that puts them in a really good position with outfielders.

Maybe Tank moves to 1B when Pk retires and that when Danks comes into the OF picture.

Doubt it. When PK retires, someone from either the minors or via trade will play there. Viciedo will probably be DH and Danks in LF.

But Rios will be gone before PK retires so that doesn't even matter.
